Why is it that you believe more and more government is a good thing?  Even if the government was 100% Republican, I wouldn't want the government to keep getting bigger.  A government that is big enough to provide your every need is also big enough to take away every freedom you enjoy.

I agree, it's time to cut defense spending to the bone, end corporate tax loopholes, end subsidies to farmers, and take our country back to the good old days when extreme personal wealth was taxed at a rate of 70 per cent .

Actually, prof...in all the openings available...the Bears position is by far the most attractive...they have a QB, RB, a great defense...fill some holes through the draft and F/A and they could be damn good...need someone with an imagination on offense...IMO...that is why it could come down to Arians or McCoy?

Nice W by the Pack yesterday, and yes you could cert be right abt that. I think Ponder sitting out made somewhat of a difference, but the Vikes still would have needed everything to go right given the Pack offense was so stellar and Woodson's return was a good spark as well.

I'm not sold on the Bears D, it is aging and suspect to second half meltdowns due to their age and injury. Lately, all an opposing offense needs to do is hit the slant, the 20 yard seam pass, and hold onto the ball like a man and the Bears D is most vulnerable.

But that is the past, perhaps the new coach brings in a 3-4 defense or makes another major overhaul . It's kind of fun to imagine the scenarios, may i also throw in Herm Edwards as a possible candidate ? He would fit pretty well here i believe.
