Brett Favre won't go away

He just won't. He will not leave. He can't shut up. He can't sit back and let the Packers be. He has to chime in. Because Favre needs the exposure, he needs to be heard, he needs people to know he's just fine. When it's probably killing him how his career ended and Aaron Rodgers is dominating the position.

No, Favre, speaking about the Packers, has to say this, when asked about Rodgers winning a title: "...the biggest surprise to me was that he didn't do it sooner." Sure, Brett. That's it. That's it, of course.

Can't leave it alone. Can't just wear his Wranglers. Can't go fishin' or do his textin'. Has to chime in knowing it's probably going to irk Rodgers.

Unbelievable.

He won't go away. He can't go away. But I wish he would.

But at least he didn't tarnish it with multiple arrests, or by being a thug multi-millionaire gambling on dog fights.  Or being so incredibly ignorant and shooting himself in the leg.  Or being someone having an annual salary making more money than most people will see in a life time, getting arrested for distribution of 6 lbs. of weed.

No, he didnt do any of that, all he did is sexually harass women and send them pictures of his manhood that they did not want to see!!! And, yes, I said women. Jenn Sterger was not the only one, I gaurantee that.

Freeman apparently doesn't like Favre because he is a good ole' country boy.  Hence, the Wrangler and fishing comment.  Maybe if Favre endorsed Fubu and played Spades or had criminal history, Freeman would give him his due.  What does Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, Cedric Benson, Jerome Simpson, Plaxico Burress, Johnny Jolly, Aquib Talib, Mike Vick all have in common?  Enough said.  You don't see either of the Manning's, Brady, Brees, or Rodgers getting arrested.  And what you also don't see is Freeman bashing them.  It kind of goes back to that reverse discrimination thread that someone posted earlier on this topic.  Instead, he would like to criticize a QB that has accolades that probably won't be reached for many years, IF they ever do.  Sure he tarnished his name with the whole reitring fiasco. Anyone could agree that it was nauseating.  But at least he didn't tarnish it with multiple arrests, or by being a thug multi-millionaire gambling on dog fights.  Or being so incredibly ignorant and shooting himself in the leg.  Or being someone having an annual salary making more money than most people will see in a life time, getting arrested for distribution of 6 lbs. of weed.  Chris Berhman and ESPN need to put all these fools on a segment of 'C'mon man'.

Brett Favre won't go away

i didnt like farve until the packers told him he couldn't play anymore.  i know he kept talking about retirement and then changed his mind, but he is allowed to do that, i'm allowed to do that, everyone is.  And the packers were allowed to move on.  but they didn't want him playing period.  they basically tried to buyout his legacy by making him some kind of glorified mascot.  And he can say what he wants, if you hang on any athlete's every word, that's your fault.  If you're gonna shove a microphone in their faces then don't bitch about what they have to say.

i thought Brett was actually being polite. He could have said f ** k Rodgers, kind of like the way Rodgers was leading a "f-*- brett farve" chant in some bar while watching the jets lose in the playoffs.  Talk about bitterness and resentment.  Shouldn't Mr. Wonderful be above all that garbage?   I guess not, he takes shots at Mark Sanchez  on TV unprovoked.  Basically said F U to every player that practiced during the lockout.  I know he wants you to believe that it was a shot at the media, but he's a crafty stuck up snob. he knows what he did.
