Players, owners reach agreement on final CBA

Posted on: August 3, 2011 11:44 pm

It's now in the hands of every player in the NFL.

The players and owners reached agreement on final details of the CBA late Wednesday night.

That part is over.

Now, the team reps will detail the CBA to the general membership. Players will conduct the vote, fax in the results, and if ratified, practice can start for everyone at 4 p.m. eastern.

And it will get ratified.

More to come.

Players, owners reach agreement on final CBA

First, the players wanted MORE money. Then, they decided they wanted to do less work for that money. Now, according to Ryan Clark, they don't want to be held responsible for their actions either. WOW, let's ALL try that with our jobs today!! I'll bet, if we really try, we can have the unemployment rate at 99% by 9:00 pm tonight!!! This only confirms my decision to not support the NFL any longer. The NFL has gotten it's last dime of MY money!

Looks that way.  Can't wait for the new Cardinals to take the field tomorrow after they send in the results.
