OUCH, INDEED: This is how bad it's getting for LeBron James. Even NFL players are now mocking his fourth quarter efforts. From the Twitter of center Damien Woody: "If u ask @KingJames for a dollar , he'll only give u 75 cents , he never gives you the fourth quarter #Ouch!!!"

More Woody: "@KingJames.....stop w/ all this f***** passing & step tha f*** up!!!! Have u forgotten that this is the #NBA FINALS!!!"

Wow. I don't even know what to say to that.

It's incredibly rare for one athlete to publicly rip another and even more rare for athletes to cross sports and do so. Not that James is sitting around worrying what Damien Woody thinks of him but it's still pretty stunning since athletes generally stay out of this territory.

It's not just NFL players, either. An attorney who often represents NFL players in various legal matters took his shots as well. Tweeted David Cornwell: "Stop it! No more mention of LeBron in the same (sentence) as Jordan. 4th quarter performance alone ends discussion. Games 2 big...Lights 2 bright." Cornwell, a highly respected and well known attorney throughout the NFL community later tweeted: "Lebron has spoken...the Decision + 4th quarter performance = "I'm not a lead dawg." Tis what it is..."

Wow, again.

I'm guessing Woody takes back his Tweets or apologizes once they become more public. Or maybe not. Maybe James is such fair game even NFL offensive linemen are targeting him.

GREATEST FALSE START EVER.

I've been saying for some time the early part of this coming season might be ugly as hell. This NFL executive is basically saying the same thing.

See you next week.

After Byrd, Magic and Jordon I stopped watching basketball because it is all plastic now.

Hmmm, is that Paul Byrd or Marlon Byrd? There's a famous bball player named Larry BIRD, is that who you meant?

It's like Larry King got into NBA after destroying Boxing.

Larry King is a talk show host with a normal haircut that has had zero impact on boxing!

Looks like Scotty Pippin knew what he was talking about. Not!

And last week: King James,"No one person can guard me." Looks like that's because no one has to (at least not in the fourth quarter).

Football players need to get it together and get this season started. We want some real sports and we want it now. Don't even waste your time with plastic.

Gottasayit- you really think basketball is harder then  football.. okay lets see.. lebron plays in an ac building.. football is played in all types of weather. how many people from the nfl have had  career ending injuries  vs basketball? Kobe has a sprained finger he cant play.. drew bree's tears a mcl and playes 17 full games?  how many refs openly admitted to cheating in the nfl vs the nba? there are rules in place for hard hits in the nfl because the cruel nature of the sport.. hockey is the most telling sport on your body .. i have played all sports since i was about 5 and hockey takes the most pounding on your body..  lets not forget the fact that in football u are running around witrh almost 20 lbs of equipment as well vs a 3 oz jerzey? id love to see lebron james take a hit from clay mathews or a brian dawkins.. get off ur sofa and play a sport before you start speaking about how hard it is.. aint that hard if Lebron can take a quarter off every game.. i never see peyton manning take a quarter off  maybe thats why he won a chip and  lebron hasnt
